“At Home with… Nick Mullins” screens at UK House of Commons.
“At Home with… Nick Mullins” now has the unique honour of having screened at UK House of Commons.
The award-winning comedy short screened at a celebratory evening of film at UK House of Commons hosted by Dr Rupa Huq MP after winning “Best Comedy” at Ealing Film Festival.
The night brought together the eclectic mix of international award-winning filmmakers and MPs from across the UK as the films screened as part of a celebratory night of film in the prestigious Jubilee Room.

“At Home with… Nick Mullins” has been invited to be screened at UK House of Commons on 6th June 2022.
After winning “Best Comedy” at Ealing Film Festival, “At Home with… Nick Mullins” has been selected along with the other winning films from both the 2020 and 2021 editions to be a part of a “Celebration of Film” screening in The Jubilee Room at UK House of Commons.
The evening will be hosted by Dr Rupa Huq MP.
James Longley wins Best Supporting Actor for “Adventure Brothers - WEB SERIES” at Dublin International Comedy Film Festival.
Oakmead Productions made a successful return to this year’s Dublin International Comedy Film Festival as “Adventure Brothers - WEB SERIES” received three nominations across the board with James Longley winning “Best Supporting Actor”.
The festival took place from 20th - 22nd January 2022 and, Like last year, Dublin International Comedy Film Festival (DICFF) was forced to take place online due to Covid-19 restrictions. However, this did not stop a huge turn out of online ticket sales and viewings for all categories across the festival as large audiences tuned in for what is fast becoming one of the most premium and competitive comedy film festivals around.
Aside from James’s award, “Adventure Brothers - WEB SERIES” was also nominated for “Best Web Series” and Paul Longley was nominated for his performance in the “Best Lead Actor” category.
This is the third award that Oakmead Productions has won at DICFF, after “At Home with… Nick Mullins” and “The Cooking Challenge” last year picked “Best International Short” and “Best International Sketch” respectively.

“At Home with… Nick Mullins” played to a packed in-person audience at Ealing Film Festival where it was also named “Best Comedy” at the awards event which eventually brought the curtain down on a fantastic weekend of film. The film festival, which also screened “Adventure Brothers”, took place over two days screening an array of talent from all genres as it wowed crowds and attracted big names from the television and film industry.
Head judge for the comedy section, Mel Giedroyc (TV’s Mel & Sue) described “At Home with… Nick Mullins” as “The birth of an extraordinary character”.

“Adventure Brothers Save Christmas!” selected for Krampusnacht Freeky Film Festival.
The opening Christmas Special episode of the Adventure Brothers Web Series: “Adventure Brothers Save Christmas!” has been officially selected for Illinois’s Krampusnacht Freeky Film Festival.
This will be the second year in a row that Krampusnacht Freeky Film Festival will host an Adventure Brothers story after the original 9 minute short film version, “Adventure Brothers” screened at last year’s festival, winning three awards.
The festival will take place in person this year at the SoDO Theatre in Champaign, Illinois, on 4th December 2021.

The comedy short screened to a packed audience at The Wyn Centre in Paisley during the film festival’s three day event before being crowned “Best Comedy Film”.

“Adventure Brothers” wins two awards, including Best Short Film at B Beside The Seaside Film Festival.
“Adventure Brothers” played to a live in-person crowd on the big screen for the first time this weekend as part of B Beside The Seaside Film Festival in Southport.
The event took place at Southport’s fantastic Bijou Cinema where films from all over the world played out to packed crowds as part of a fantastic weekend of film.
At the awards ceremony, “Adventure Brothers” won two of B Beside The Seaside Film Festival’s coveted awards, including “Best Short Film”. The film’s iconic animated character, Penis Dragon, also got recognition from the festival’s crowd of admirers by winning “Strangest Item Used As A Weapon”.

The BFI supported film festival took place online this year from Monday 22nd March - Sunday 28th March 2021, and despite not being an in-person event due to Covid-19 restrictions, the film festival was a huge success as audiences from around the world tuned in.

“At Home with… Nick Mullins” has been officially selected to play as part of the comedy section as this year’s Harrogate Film Festival.
This year’s event will initially take place virtually on Friday 23rd April 2021 with all films being made available to view online for one month afterwards.
In addition to this, pending Government approval on the re-opening of cinemas in the UK, Harrogate Film Festival is aiming to hold an in-person screening weekend on 29th and 30th May 2021 which will conclude with their awards ceremony.

“At Home with… Nick Mullins” wins the GRAND JURY PRIZE at Blue Ridge Film Festival.
“At Home with… Nick Mullins” won the “Grand Jury Prize” for “Best Overall Film” at Blue Ridge Film Festival in Georgia, USA over the weekend. The festival, which was held online this year due to Covid-19 restrictions between 25th February - 1st March, prides itself on its missions statement of “being the preservation of independent film through the nurturing of independent voices.”

Paul Longley has won “Best Actor” at North London Comedy Shorts for his combined performances of Timothy Rawlston and @TheTimTwenty in “At Home with… @TheTimTwenty”. “Adventure Brothers” screens at Shorts On Tap’s “Year Zero” event.
“Adventure Brothers” has just screened as one of seven selected comedy short films for Shorts On Tap’s “Year Zero” event. The online screening (due to Covid-19 restrictions), which also celebrated Shorts On Tap’s 7th anniversary, hosted comedy films from all around the world.

Filming begins on “Adventure Brothers - Web Series” Episode Two…
“Adventure Brothers and The Mountain Of Fire”.
Filming has begun on the second episode of the “Adventure Brothers - Web Series” titled “Adventure Brothers and The Mountain Of Fire”.
Episode two will pick up from where episode one, “Adventure Brothers Save Christmas!”, finished, as the brothers set off on yet another adventure.
